The Atlantic Canada Maritimes
a travelogue of Québec, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador
June 22 - July 17, 2001
At exactly 11:18AM on the 22nd of June, 2001 we departed Buxton on Cape Hatteras, NC for our summer vacation in the Maritime Provinces of Atlantic Canada. Our third trip into Atlantic Canada in the last six years. The itinerary allowed us to visit two old friends: the cruise ship L'Écho Des Mers and Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Additionally we have planned our first foray to "the Rock" Newfoundland.

We've divided the trip into segments that will more accurately describe the diversity of Canadian culture and physical geography. Each may be viewed alone or successively depending entirely upon your interest or lack thereof. Please enjoy these pictures and descriptions of Atlantic Canada and Québec. More importantly, GO THERE!
